Flashlight in the Daytime

Coming from a different environment and way of thinking and living moving down south helped me discover that life isn’t the same where you move. The environments we are placed in create the aura of who or what we are going to be.

As I found who I was I realized what we all struggle with. We are all trying to fit into a box that we were not created to fit in. We are saved from the ill’s and hardships of others as long as we believe we are who we say we are.

Speaking with a Southern dialect I learned that life’s pace changes for each person as they discover what life means to them. Through conversation I would here sayings like “trying to find something in the daytime with a flashlight. It always struck me as odd, but I’ve come to learn what that means!

A flashlight in the daytime is what we do on a daily basis. We go throughout our daily actions trying to find God in the worldly things we do. When we make a mistake we ask God to take care of it. Every time we mess up we expect God to fess up to our problems!

You can’t walk around in the daytime with a Flashlight and expect to find the truth!

All you will do is shine a light that is dim upon the brightness that God is shining down on your life. Stop trying to direct your movements following a flashlight in the daytime!

You can’t cover up the things you do by flashing a light over something else! Everything is seen in the daytime, except our flashlight!

The true flash of light you need to see is the God that emanates from people that you communicate with! Our little glimmer of light can never shine light on the light of day! God is the source of light that shines in any environment! Welcome to Todd Alexander Presents…Flashlight in the Daytime…
